The Ski Gallery & Fondue Factory
A large space in the heart of Val d'Isère where the first permanent vintage collection of skis and equipment from the last 120 years rub shoulders with the famous Fondue Factory.
An astonishing decor in which the specialties of the Franco-Swiss Alps can be tasted at any time of the day. All the recipes for fondues, grilled meats and salads that make the reputation of our mountains. In a chalet atmosphere, you can taste hot chocolate and homemade pies while traveling through the history of skiing.
A collection of more than 1000 pairs of skis belonging to Killy Sport, started in 1946 by Robert Killy until today. Within this collection, 2 pairs of legendary skis.
The first won the World Championships at Portillo in 1966, a capital V was engraved with Opinel by Michel Arpin, the preparer, just before the race. Jean-Claude discovered it when he arrived at the ski-room. ''You're swollen!'' he told her. This episode was picked up in the world press.
And Jean-Claude's legendary pair of downhill skis, which alone won 7 downhill world cups during the winter of 1967: Wengen, Kitzbühel, Megève Grenoble (pre-Olympic) Kandahar, Sestrière, Franconia, Vail .
